We are looking for a detail-oriented Contracts Manager I (Contractor) to support vendor and service provider agreements for a long-term contract opportunity in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role focuses on administering the full contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation through amendments, performance oversight, and financial review. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to help maintain effective contractual relationships while protecting business interests.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day administration of service provider agreements and maintain organized contract records throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to prepare, review, and negotiate contract terms that align with operational and business needs.
• Track supplier performance against agreed service levels and address compliance issues when contractual commitments are not achieved.
• Apply contract remedies, including performance credits, penalties, or incentives, based on established measures and documented outcomes.
• Develop and process contract modifications, renewals, and revised terms when scope, pricing, or business requirements change.
• Examine contract-related financial activity and budget variances, then recommend or implement corrective actions to resolve discrepancies.
• Support contract transitions and related coordination activities to help ensure continuity of vendor services and obligations.
• Communicate key contract obligations, risks, and updates to relevant business partners to support informed decision-making.• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in contract management, finance, vendor administration, or a comparable business function.
• Working knowledge of contract negotiation principles, contract documentation, and supplier agreement management.
• Experience reviewing budgets, tracking financial impacts, and responding to contract variance issues.
• Ability to evaluate vendor performance and take appropriate action to address service or compliance concerns.
• Strong organizational skills with careful attention to detail and accuracy in managing contractual information.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across internal and external teams.
